Terms of Service

(Last updated July 22nd 2022)

By commissioning me for any type of project, you agree to my ToS below.

1. Terms of Service

  • I hold the right to alter this page and my prices at any time, although I will make sure that it's known when I make any substantial change beyond simple rewording. Keep your eyes on my journals for further information.

2. Pitching your idea

  • You may ask for almost anything with as much or as little detail as you desire. The complexity of what you can ask me for is entirely up to you, whether it's a simple story focusing on one main scene, or a very deep and advanced plot that takes place over a long period of time. Make sure you include as much detail as you feel to be relevant.

  • If not enough information is given, I may request more from you. I may utilise creative freedom for some minor details if they remain undefined, keeping these within the realm of the characters' personalities when possible.

  • If you find you have trouble wording your pitch, you may submit a beginning, a middle and an end as your idea. This method may possibly require additional discussion.

  • Only very basic information is needed for Trust-Me pieces, as I would wield complete creative freedom over the making of these stories. For more information on what this kind of commission is and what is required of you should you choose it, please see the corresponding page in the What I Offer submenu.

3. Before approaching me

  • Make sure you have a firm idea of what you want from your written piece.

  • When sending your pitch, avoid putting this information in very long paragraphs. Space out your sentences so that it's easier to read.

  • You will find a form on the Get In Touch page that must be filled out to get a commission from me.

4. The making of your commission

  • I have the right to turn down projects for any reason. You will be given an explanation as to why.

  • Regular updates will be given through your preferred means of communication on the progress of your project. You may ask me to alter or add any further elements, but I will expect you to tell me if I have made any mistakes.

  • You may also keep track of the progress of your commission through the Trello page linked on the Owed stories subheading on this site.

  • I have the right to upload anything I make to any and all sites I'm active on as a means of self promotion. Should you not want your piece uploaded, or you would prefer to remain anonymous, please tell me when you propose your idea.

  • Unless you have told me otherwise before the start of your commission's making, your file will be uploaded soon after completion and proofreading.

5. Conduct

  • Do not commission me if you are having financial problems that will impair your ability to pay.

  • You are expected to behave in a civil manner as you would on any website.

  • Do not talk to me about real life politics or religion. I would prefer to avoid any potential arguments or unwanted attention. The only exception is fictional politics or religions that are relevant to the world that exists in your lore and to what you want your purchase to contain.

  • Attempting to roleplay with me or any of my characters is something I view as very disrespectful. Do not do it.

  • Getting abusive or making any attempt to avoid paying for your commission will result in me considering you unreliable and being potentially unwilling to work with you in the future.

  • If you steal from me (including issuing a fraudulent chargeback) or if I believe you will use your commission to attack another person, you will be listed as potentially dangerous and permanently blacklisted.

  • Out of respect for my customers and other content makers, I will refuse business with any persons who are known to have done this or have stolen art or characters.

6. Legal binders

  • You must be at least 18 years old to do business of any kind with me.

  • Any files I make will carry a disclaimer that absolves me and you of any responsibility for offence that any reader may take. My works feature fictional characters and are not intended to portray real events or people who exist in real life. As would be the case with published literature, it is placed before the body of the work itself.

  • The piece you receive is for your private and personal use only.

  • For copyright reasons, I will not make fan fiction on commission. Fan characters based on intellectual property, such as Pokésonas or Ponysonas, are also not allowed.

  • Real locations may be featured should you wish them to be, but their role will be limited to being where a story takes place. Any scenes set in these places are not to be interpreted as bearing any resemblance to real incidents.

  • You must not claim that you made the piece you receive.

  • I will not feature real people in my work unless they have given written permission for themselves to be featured.

7. Notes on violent or sexually explicit works

  • I am open to creating works of this nature, so if you want to know if I'll take your idea on, don't be afraid to ask.

  • If such a story is to be a gift, it must be obvious from the recipient’s userpage/website and/or uploads that they would accept this sort of gift. Any usernames and links to sites they are active on must be supplied.

  • If, after being given their contact information, I am unsure of this, I will get in touch with them to make sure it’s something they would want and consent to. If it is not or you refuse to provide me with this information, I will interpret it as an attempt to use my work to attack another person and you will be blacklisted.

8. What I will not make

While I am open to making written material about just about any subject, it is strictly forbidden to ask me to make anything covering the following subjects:

  • Minors in any sexual situations

  • Zoophilia (bestiality)

  • Coprophilia (scat)

  • Urolagnia (watersports)

  • Biastophilia (rape)

  • Fan fiction, including fan characters

  • Writing featuring real people where written permission has not been given

  • Writing that features any kind of discrimination portrayed in a positive light

  • Writing that will be used to stalk, harass or attack other people

  • Writing that features real political figures or religions

  • Writing for or on the behalf of anyone who has been banned from doing business with me

Pitches featuring any of these things will, without exception, be instantly refused. You will be permanently blacklisted if you ask me to include any characters under the age of 18 in sexual scenes or I find out you will use your purchase to attack another person. The relevant administration or authorities will be notified if I have sound reason to believe you are putting somebody else in danger.

9. Terms of use

  • My written works must never be posted without a watermark or title and I refuse to provide any works without these present, including any works in progress. I consider these to be part of each piece and my signature for each one.

  • If you repost in your own gallery, you must include a link back to the original upload and credit me as the author.

  • The only exceptions to the above two clauses are on the very rare occasions that I disown a story and wish to remain anonymous, add a vignette to an art piece, or submit materials to Furry publishers.

  • You cannot make any alterations to your finished file. Only I may make such changes. Just let me know if you want anything altered, even if it’s just a small typo.

  • You must not resell the piece or try to make any profit from my work unless I have given you explicit permission.

  • Incomplete stories will use a different watermark from completed files and bear the text Work In Progress in the headers and footers of each page.

  • Please remember to keep a copy of your file in a safe place. If necessary, I can provide copies of files again.

10. Payment

  • For all types of projects with the exception of Trust-Mes, you will be charged twice. The first time, I would estimate how long I think the commission will be (rounded up to the nearest 1,000 words), then will charge a non refundable deposit of 50% of the cost of this word count. The second time, I will charge you the remaining cost once the story is completed, but before I release it to you.

  • This means that if I should end up overestimating the length of the final product, the second payment would be less than the first, and vice versa.

  • If any minor alterations resulting in a difference in length fewer than 250 words are required after I have charged you the second time, you will not be charged a third time. You may only ask me three times, after which there will be a small charge for further alterations.

  • Trust-Mes and spots in YCHs are the only kinds of commission in which the entire cost is to be paid before work commences.

  • I will send you an invoice for each payment, so I will require your e-mail address.

11. Refunds

  • As stated in the preceding subheading, the 50% deposit charged at the beginning of the process cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

  • I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, in which case you would receive a full refund.

12. Deadlines

  • Timed pieces are given higher priority over untimed commissions.

  • Works that need to be completed within a set time limit will be charged with a 25% price increase compared to my usual rates. This will be listed as a Hurry Subsidy on the invoice.

  • If I believe a deadline is impossible for me to make, I will turn down the commission.

  • If I should fail to make the set deadline, you will have a choice between me refunding the Hurry Subsidy or taking this off the price of your next commission (which must be worth at least the extra amount charged).

If anything is unclear, please get in touch and I will gladly be of assistance.
